Brand Kit

Use published brand logos, colors, fonts, and materials through Clico MCP.

A Brand Kit provides the official logo, color palette, typography, design guide, and uploaded materials for a published brand. For design and content work, use the current kit from MCP instead of guessing colors or collecting logos from external sites.

  1. Connect your MCP client to the clico server.
  2. If you do not know the brand name, search with clico_search_brands and use the returned slug.
  3. For design work, call clico_get_brand_design_context. It returns the kit summary and the primary logo as an image in one response.
  4. Use the more specific tools below when you need a particular material, font, or file.

The brand input can be a slug (for example, mrwaffle) or a Clico brand-page URL. Tools that accept locale support en and tr.

Tools

Brand discovery and context

  • clico_search_brands — Search published brands by name. Accepts query, optional limit (1–20), and locale.
  • clico_get_brand_design_context — Recommended single call for design work: returns colors, fonts, key material URLs, and the primary logo image.
  • clico_get_brand_context — Returns production context such as brand voice, audience, positioning, and design guidance.
  • clico_get_brands — Retrieves summaries for up to 25 brand slugs or URLs in one call.

Kits and files

  • clico_get_brand_kit — Returns the Brand Kit as JSON.
  • clico_get_brand_kit_markdown — Returns the same kit as Markdown.
  • clico_get_brand_logo — Returns the primary logo as MCP image content.
  • clico_get_brand_image — Returns a selected kit image specified by the file argument.
  • clico_get_brand_fonts — Lists font names, roles, and available font-file or Google Fonts links.
  • clico_list_brand_files — Lists files associated with the kit.
  • clico_get_brand_file — Returns a file preview, readable content, or metadata.
  • clico_build_brand_urls — Builds logo and icon URLs without downloading the files.

If a client cannot access external images, request includeDataUri: true with clico_get_brand_logo, clico_get_brand_image, or clico_get_brand_file when appropriate.

Feedback

  • clico_send_feedback — Sends feedback about Brand Kit data. message is required; brand, tool, and a rating from 1 to 5 are optional.

Brand Kit retrieval tools are public and read-only. clico_send_feedback is the exception that submits feedback. Kits are available only for published brands.

Downloads and web versions

For offline use with AI tools, prefer the brand-kit.zip archive on the brand page. It includes Markdown, JSON, and the files/ materials. Direct URLs:

  • English: https://www.clico.co/brands/{slug}/brand-kit.zip
  • Turkish: https://www.clico.co/markalar/{slug}/brand-kit.zip
  • English Markdown: https://www.clico.co/brands/{slug}/brand-kit.md
  • Turkish Markdown: https://www.clico.co/markalar/{slug}/brand-kit.md
  • English JSON: https://www.clico.co/brands/{slug}/brand-kit.json
  • Turkish JSON: https://www.clico.co/markalar/{slug}/brand-kit.json

Replace {slug} with the brand slug. When the client supports MCP, fetching the kit through MCP ensures it uses the latest published data.

Follow brand guidance

  • Use the color, typography, and tone roles specified in the kit; do not guess missing values.
  • Use the logo from the kit. Do not redraw it or replace it with a third-party favicon or press-kit URL.
  • Fetch current kit data for each production task.
  • Treat the Brand Kit as the source of truth instead of scraping the brand website. Do not add claims or brand materials that are not in the kit unless the user explicitly asks.
